Good amount and condition of equipment. Pleasant staff and great personal trainer (at least the one I use is). Overall facilities seem really good and upbeat tempo of the gym makes me want to keep going back.
Parking can be a litte tight although not often. It would also be nice to have a bigger pool but to be honest, a 25m pool in a gym should generally suffice.
The Virgin Active gym in Crawley is superb. The staff are friendly and the gym equipment is plentiful and in good condition. The pool is often pretty quiet if in attendance early morning or lunchtime, as is the main gym itself. I do understand it can get very busy after work but I never go then so can't really comment. As a Pru Health member I get a very good subsidised membership as long as I go at least twice a week so I've got no real complaints. I have also found that personal training is a great way to get help with achieveing what you set out to accomplish.
