Nice looking
Cheaper barrel compared to a Lothar Walther Barrel. C02 unstable for cold weather as to compressed air from scuba. Valve was bad out of the box and when trying to install C02 it leaked all out and frozed!! Pellet could not go into a tennis ball from 10 yards away!
The Barreta Storm looked cool but it had limited power compared to my Airforce Talon SS right out of the box. Very limited power. From across the yard I can smash Dragon Flys with the Talon but with the Storm I can be lucky just to maybe hit it! I also had my Talon custom modified and completely quieted down and jeweled. Rebuilt valves and the works. That took me to about $1500.00. not including my Scuba tanks to fill it.
I realized this is much more $$ but I needed an airgun that would get the job done and meet my needs.
I returned both my Barreta Storms. The company informed me that it was just a bad batch of valves from Russia in case I wanted to try one later. I so far have not wanted to. So much for my original review of my Barreta.
I was not impressed with it's overall performance but it's semi auto functionality was superb. But just one shot from my talon is all I need. So again I lost interest in that little storm.
$200.00 Vs $650.00 to $1500.00...?
A world of difference.
