Good Points

Very good specification for the price
Screen is nice and clear
Quick to set up and get running on


Bad Points

Touchpad tap can not be turned off (unless you download third party software to do so)
In my opinion fan is extremely loud considering - although you can press a button to switch to a slightly more silent mode
WiFi connection a little poor- my dell laptop maintains connection no problem, but Advent 9215 seems to drop - although this is very very infrequently - nearly all casual users and most high users would not notice
Annoying that all connections (USB, Firewire, etc) are on the left and right side - though it seems most manufacturers are taking to this silly practice lately
Battery life not great, but you don't buy a laptop like this and expect it to last 18 hours


General Comments

Whilst it seems I have left more negative comments than positive, overall I am happy with the purchase (it does what I need it to). The laptop is incredibly well priced considering the specification, and would suit many users requirements. Recommend this Advent Laptop to anyone.
