I had previous good experience with Opodo but it is simpler to avoid their £5 charge, book direct with the airline and receive a better service in my opinion.
I personally didn't feel safe website.
In my opinion slow to respond to correspondence.
Nearly 4 months to resolve a double debit to a credit card.
No compensation for holding £183 0f customer money for nearly 4 months.
Slow to apologies.
Opodo's website for booking airline tickets (as linked to the BHX website) is not as secure as they claim. I was double debited for 2 tickets on 13th and 14th June 2007 and it was not until October 4th 2007, nearly 4 months later, that my money was returned. There was no compensation and as far as I am aware I only received an apology after they were prompted. I feel I had to do all the work to get this potential situation rectified. They have not yet replied to 2 letters and they claim they have not received mine either.
i was unhappy with my experience of their service was and I have refrained from using opodo.com services since.
