I was pleasently suprised at the service i received after reading the bad reports off the net. I had a full refund and the insurance for the ring i purchased. The salesman was more than helpful.
The only bad point I can say is why at the branch (Kings Heath Birmingham) where I originally bought it from didnt offer me the same service and never picked up on the fault and I had to return it to another store.
I declined the H. Samuel offer of a further 20% off another ring because of the bad workmanship of having the ring resized in the first place i didnt want to run the risk of having it happen again. So they lost out in the end and i have ended up with going somewhere else. I was disappointed because i did like the style of the ring i chose and unless i pay a designer then i wont get the same again as this was a stock not to be replaced.
