General Comments

I was obliged to take out this expensive policy due to the fact that my puppy became lame during the 6 week free period. The Kennel Club are slow to pay, I kept getting fobbed off with 'it's being dealt with'. I don't beleive that they should be able to contact the breeder to verify claims either as this is a priveledge that no other company has. I'll say it again, this policy is SO expensive!

    I am a breeder who was contacted by KC insurance regarding a puppy I sold nearly 4 months ago,I found they were very offensive and asked if puppy was healthy when sold and details of my vet.They would not give details of puppies illness and I felt they were just looking for an excuss to refuse claim. On reflection I told my vet to withhold info as whole litter was healthy .My vet agreed they shouldn`t get info on my bitch and litter as said puppy had passed health test as new owners vet as well as mine.What made me mad was they wouldn`t tell me if it was a something I had already screened for under BVA test s
    I will be using pet plan for my puppies in future.
