Bad Points
Sleeping up in the roof is cool but in the night if you need to get up you have to roll your sleeping partner off the hatch in order to get down into the main van compartment, but it was only a mild hassle.
Fuel economy isn't as good as other vans.
General Comments
We had a coverted our Mazda Bongo in the UK and loved it, we were very sad when we had to sell it in order to go travelling. The engine was great, we owned it for 2 years and never had any problems. The rear conversion was great, and having a fridge was a really good idea as you can enjoy a cold beer with a BBQ or your dinner.
We will definatly buy another bongo.
