Economical, loads of space, seating for 7, handling, ability to tackle some rough tracks in mid Wales (good for Sunday outings), cheap road tax, easy to use 4x4 switch, driving position and comfort, punchy mid range VW diesel engine.
Bad Points
Slightly noisy VW TDI engine but not as terrible as some of the reviews make out.
General Comments
I had the power upgrade from Mitsubishi for the TDI engine - BHP up from 138 to 167 and torque up from 310nm to 365 nm. As a result the engine has much more mid range punch and is probably on a par with the top of the range Diamond Outlander with the 2.2 Peugeot diesel engine. Would recommend the power upgrade but not cheap (£787).
