Good Points

Easy to use platform and good account info.


Bad Points

Too many lags - way behind the real-time trading position.
I suffered a major gap down last week on a short which only then opened at the new low (having passed my intended opening position without opening) and should have made a good profit.
But was then unable to trade the position for over 30 minutes as it wasn't showing on my screen. By the time it was and I could close it, price had risen again producing a significant loss.
Their spreads are more often quite wide and miles away from reality. Even their platform prices don't match their own graph prices!
Today, they charged me for a glitch in their software and refused to refund the value involved.
Now closed the account as a result but have to wait 3 days for the credit to be reimbursed.


General Comments

Capital Spreads Spread betting is a very slow platform and it seems, every time there is any question of whether the company or the client gets the benefit of the doubt from a trade, it has favoured them every time.

I would suggest you look elsewhere for a better-value spread betting company.
