Superb build quality.
Sound is very detailed giving a good representation of the recording acoustic. Bass is the best I have heard from a C.D., deep yet very clean. Pipe organ is faithfully reproduced.
Remote control could be more solid. Does not reflect the quality of the C.D. player.
I have only had the Copland 266 for a couple of months. I use it with Audiolab 800Q and 8000P amplification with Tannoy 12"Monitor Golds in home-built 65litre infinite baffle cabinets, crossovers updated to Tannoy's recommendations.
The Copland has been a revelation. I think, without spending outrageous money, this will be as good as it will get.
