Good Points

The Ford ikon 1.3 is spacious & gives a comfortable ride. This is a very safe car.


Bad Points

Underpowered and the authorised service centre labour charges are very high.


General Comments

Ford does advertise that the Ikon comes in for an emi of a small car but what they do not say is what goes in for maintenance.

the parts are very expensive, I had to change the oil seal gasket after 20000 kms and the gasket costs Rs. 1200 but the labour for this costs 2200 and together is costs Rs. 3500/-.

So though the initial cost of an ikon 1.3 comparable with other B segment cars, it maintenance is very way too expensive and is no way comparible.
