Good Points

Its suited to all the family, young and old, its got great rides like the Ultimate, Eagles Claw, Hornets Nest and Sewer Rat, its set in a beautiful countryside with lots of flowers and trees, its got a Bird Of Prey Centre and Shopping Village and also a train ride that goes around the park.

Bad Points

Its not as good as its rival theme parks like Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Pleasure Beach because of the choice of rides and the two coasters that they do have are more suited to funfairs. Some staff are a bit miserable and depressed and the food outlets are not the nicest looking places to eat.

General Comments

Lightwater Valley is suited for all the family with its thrilling rides like the Ultimate and Eagles Claw to the kiddies rides which are of a good selection like Gator Park (a park just for kids), Teacups, Ladybird and Caterpillar coasters, Mini Ferris Wheel and the list is endless. Family rides are really good fun with the Go-Karts, Skate Karts(which are so randomly funny), new Lightwater Wheel, Swan Lake and around the park train ride. The space in which the park is in is a very open countryside look with rides in all kinds of places like in the woods, trees, and boating lakes. Its a very peaceful place to be and eat. But the eating places although I brought a packed lunch you can't always rely on to get what you want--its funfair tye hotdogs, burgers, chicken nuggets--but thats great for the kids. And you can eat outside too and enjoy the surroundings. You can even have your picture taken with an owl on your arm for that rare occasion! There a few bad points in my opinion apart from the fact that some thrill rides aren't exactly suited to those of someone expecting a really amazing fast intense rollercoaster like Nemisis at Alton or Stealth at Thorpe Park but it does still suit teenagers, parents, grandparents, kids. If you obide by the park rules and regulations and go on rides suited for your heights then your bound to have a fabulous day out and I fully recomend you going there. There are plenty of vouchers for only £10.95 per person in the spring/easter months so if you get hold of one of these its great value for up to 6 people! Prices start at just £14.50 per person and for a family of 4 its just £60.00 and parking is free. Its a pay one price system and its excellent value for whole day of fun!
