Facilities are pretty good and most of the horses and equipment are OK.
1) prices seem to go up fairly regularly and by a large percentage
2) No training plan for the students and instead of moving riders up when they are ready, you have to ask to be moved
3) classes always run at level of worst rider - would normally be expected but you would expect a rider not to be placed in a group if they are at a lower standard than the rest.
4) Recently horses seem to be getting badly behaved
5) This used to be run out of love, now it is run for the money
This school is going down hill in my view - the school doesn't look too bad but my daughter has been going now for about 8 years and although it has been modernised, it has now become more clinical. I wonder if in two years time my daughter will still be going or will have moved onto another school. There are riding schools closer to where we live I could go to and you never know, however, for the moment I will probably stay put .....until yet another price rise.
