Sporty, unique, economical, low insurance (relatively), detachable roof
Tiny, no standard security device, no boot, not great on a motorway
I have had my Suzuki Cappuccino for 6 months now and it is an absolute joy to drive in town and on country roads. Front engine rear wheel drive with 50:50 weight distribution makes for a fantastic ride. Tiny engine is economical but turbo'd to perform way over expectations (0-60 in 8.5 in untuned versions). Ten years old and it still turns heads - I've only ever seen one other on the road. Although it is tiny to look at, it's surprisingly spacious (I am 6 ft and 14 stone and fit in fine). The only real downside is that the roof stows away in the boot so nothing else fits in with the top down. But it's a sports car - if you want practicality get a Volvo! Unless you can get something very special in the same price band, go for this!
