Good Points

Good run about, easy to ride in traffic. Excellent fuel consumption. Looks
Huge but cruises. Mostly easy and relatively cheap to buy parts. New tyres, new brakes and disc, new chain and sprockets, replaced seat all easy to do.


Bad Points

Oil pump apparently fails easily (Yamaha dealer in Suffolk)
I asked coz my engine gave up at 60mph after 28,000. so now she is in bits awaiting engine or scrap.


General Comments

Shame they dont make Honda Dragstars anymore, something to do with emmissions. Also shame that you can not buy a replacement engine either. Loved this bike bought in 2000 new rode it for 7 years but it finally gave up. Cost about £800 a year to ride including purchase price so no complaints really - I want another one!
