General Comments

I had an accident nearly 1yr ago. Two independent witnesses say it was the other party's fault. Despite this the other driver wants to try and claim for the £50 damage to his car from my insurance! My insurers are denying liability and yet they say they have to increase my premium as their is an outstanding claim against my policy - They haven't paid anything, the other side have done nothing, the other side is chancing his luck and in the meantime I have lost my 3yrs no claims bonus and my premiums have increased by a staggering £400 - for a potential maybe £50 claim against my insurance. When I pointed this out they said they would close the file and re instate my no claims bonus in 6months. It;s nearly 1 yr and I'm still paying increased premiums. It's not in their interest to act in my best interests. I am referring my complaint to the Financial Ombudsman and I suggest anyone having problems with Sheils'a Wheels do the same. If you don't have a policy with them stay clear - I would rather an Aussie bloke in a dress drinking in a bar handles my insurance than them!
