Good Points

Simple to use, good Zoom function, clear photos, wide range of non-automatic functions if required


Bad Points

Very slow, software sometimes doesn't work


General Comments

This is my first digital (I also have a Canon SLR) and I have been pleasantly surprise by the quality of the photos, both on a PC screen and when developed onto photopaper. Unfortunately the camera's worst point is incredibly frustrating: it is very slow. For example, it takes a good 5 or 6 seconds between switching it on, and actually being able to take a photo. The same problem occurs when the screen automatically shuts off to power save - it takes an age to power back up. The battery life isn't great so to conserve it I tend to keep the camera turned of between photos: it's a trade off I can do without!
