Frequent mic feedback leading to high pitch squeel

General Comments
I have just bought a new 6310i to use the Bluetooth feature which works very well. However when using the phone in the normal way I frequently get hit by mic feedback that leads to a screech that all parties can hear. Any suggestions as to how to reduce/ minimise this unwanted feature.
