Good Points

Good communication tracking number for order and email updates. Discount codes when available can save lots of money, Free Super Saver delivery on selected items.


Bad Points

Codes cannot be used for 2nd party merchants.
Watch the delivery prices for 2nd party merchants it really should be displayed on the search pages for easy price comparison.


General Comments

I was buying a new Microwave and Amazon had the one I was looking for they were also offering the best price for it (£34 cheaper than competitors) and free delivery.
I searched the net in case there were any discount codes available and as luck would have it got one for £50 off any item over '£100.
So £84 saved in Total.

The service received after purchase was excellent you can track your parcel online and I also got updates from Amazon via email.
They use HDNL for the free Super Saver delivery service.
I searched the company on the net and had a sinking feeling when I saw lots of reviews/ complaints on various sites about their service.
So was expecting problems.
1 Failed delivery attempt as I was at work but Amazon emailed me with a new date .
The new date was not suitable so a quick search on the net got me the couriers local depo number.
I rang HDNL direct , very nice chap on the phone took my details and said he would call me back, which he did within 20 minutes.
Courier was excellent and changed their schedule to meet my requirements, delivered my item on a Saturday morning as requested.
Would definitely use them both again.
