Good Points
Great handling, build quality, performance

Bad Points
Having to manually crease rear window when operating the electric roof (although now not required on newer models due to glass back window)

General Comments
I have owned the car from new since Jul 02 and it's been fantastic. It is always a pleasure to drive with terrific handling and peformance. There has been nothing go wrong at all - the only thing I asked to be attended to in addition to its first service was a slight rattle from the roof which was sorted with no charge. One slightly bizarre comment I would make is probably more a criticism of me as opposed to the car - I find it slightly uninvolving. For a car with the performance that it has it almost too easy! I'm now considering its replacement and am considering a TVR - see I said it was bizarre!

oh dear, TVR you must like the AA!

<br>Try an S2000 much quicker than the Boxster, better looking and cheaper too!

Further to my original review, I've got over my disillusionment with the car and am now enjoying it as much as I ever did; I've also test driven a TVR and realise that they have a long way to go in terms of build quality!
<br>revvyman - you obviously haven't driven a Boxster S - the Honda doesn't even come close. I'd like to see any motoring report anywhere that rates the S2000 above a Boxster (excepting any written by Honda themselves!)

soo true, the Boxster S beats the Honda 2000S everytime. But I will give you that the Honda is a great car too, nice to hold, but dull interior...

i bought a 2003 3.2 s last week and wow is it a great car. i have owned M3s etc but nothing pulls like this off the line, so much torque. mine seems nicer to drive with the hood down, its mega noisy with roof up, engine and wind noise, but so so nice with it down, i could drive it all day.
