Nothing
Rude staff, didn't give us the car we asked for, strange charges appeared on credit card.
We hired a car in Geneva (French side) on the 29th December for a week. I had booked an Estate car with no excess insurance through a broker so was not particularly happy when given a Peugeot 207. There were four of us with ski gear so you can appreciate the squeeze. The rude and arrogant attendant told us we would have to make do as they had no other cars. Unfortunately she had taken the voucher we had from us so we had no contact details for the broker so indeed had to make do and took the car. To our surprise, a month later, £129.99 has been taken from the card which we gave them to use as a returnable deposit (as we were told) "in case we didn't bring the car back". When questioned, Europcar said that this was for the No Excess Insurance. This was not explained to us at all by the rude staff at the airport. In short, we got a smaller car than ordered for the same price and then were charged £129.99 for the privilege. Therefore it cost £329.99 to hire a Peugeot 207 for a week. I will never use them again.
