Noligable support centre.
In my opinion everything is always someone elses fault.. Speeds so poor it's a bad - traffic shaping with all the subtlety of a sledge hammer, so if you are even remotely into p2p just forget it. If you do try to use p2p it always 'mysteriously' disconnects in the middle of the night.
Basically if you just want to check email, browse a few websites and maybe update your anti-virus then plus net might be ok for you (so long as you never have a problem), but if you take your internetting seriously then plus net is one of the last places you should be looking.
I rarely see speeds of more than 100-150k, and most of the time it's nearer 30k! (Equivelant to a 512k connection - broadband?). My line is (and has been proved to be) capable of a real world speed of around 650k, and syncs at just under 8mbps, and it's painfully obvious that I am being artificially restricted.
They also like to add hidden charges in the small print - read everything carefully before signing up or you may get a nasty shock when you realise the service is terrible and want to leave like I have. What I have said here is absolutely true in all respects, and if anything I have been kind to them as there's so much more I could mention (don't even get me started on the email problems!).
In summery... I do not recommend Plus Net! Look - there are lots of good isp's out there so you really don't have to settle for a cheaper ISP. Do yourself a favour and go look at some of the isp's that get good reviews, that are near the top of the comparison charts, instead of going with one of the lowest scoring isp's.
