Overall Rating
- Value for money

- Handling

- Accuracy

Well made. To get an idea how well this thing is made, check out the Marksman LaserHawk 2026, for the same price.
The Marksman is totally made of plastic...well, under all that plastic I imagine the barrel is made of metal.
The Daisy fires flawlessy, shot after shot...the Marksman (which we originally bought as the dealer didn't have a Daisy in stock) misfired (didn't load a BB) 1 out of every 5 or 6 tries, and after 2 weeks completely jammed.
Bad Points
None.
General Comments
I don't get some of the low scores the Red Ryder has received.
Most of them go something like this...these are actual comments:
"accuracy drops off after 50 feet"
"won't take small game"
"works flawlessly but you can see the BB in flight"
For cryin' out loud!! It is an entry level BB gun meant for 10 year olds. It is made to be as safe as possible for a youngster to learn on.
If you want more, blow the wad (gee...what, another $30) to get a Daisy 5880.
Geeezzzz

You are so right! A Ford Focus doesn't drive like a Mercedes, but it's a fine car for what it is. Red Ryder is a lot of fun and shoots very well for the cost.
