“I love this rifle! The only adjustment it required...”

Good Points
Nice lightweight handy rifle. (My other shootin' iron is a .22 Beeman RS2, for comparison.) No vibration, and recoil is very mild. Fit and finish are lovely. Great accuracy and power. Excellent value for the money. (I paid $169.) Very important, it fits me and my carcass perfectly. Tossing it on my shoulder it feels like it was custom built for me.

Bad Points
The trigger action could be a little smoother but this is taking care of itself as it breaks in. Also, no doubt it's not as robustly built as a fine German rifle but one must factor in the price. Maybe someday I'll be able to justify a $500+ rifle but not today.

General Comments
I love this rifle! The only adjustment it required out of the box was the barrel pivot screw needed a good tightening. I ran a tin of pellets through it, just blasting them into space, before bothering to sight it. Now the shots overlap each other. To tell the complete story, I'm shooting indoors owing to Minnesota winter weather and the range is just under 30 feet. But this accuracy is a good omen. It can't be accurate downrange if it's not accurate at 30' to start with.

I strongly suggest folks buy the RWS pellet 'sampler' and see what their gun likes best. My rifle loves RWS hollowpoints but scatters the other pellets randomly. They say airguns can be finicky about their ammo but I didn't appreciate just HOW finicky.

It sounds like those who were disappointed with their rifles know what they're talking about re airgun peculiarities so maybe the rifles' performance is a matter of quality control. Maybe I just got lucky.

I'm no expert on pellet ammo, but I can say that I've been using RWS Superdome (Field Line, 0.54g) pellets with very good results. It would be interesting to know what others use/recommend.
