General Comments
Portland Direct holiday to Lanzarote, Puerto Del Carmen, November 2003. Very helpful website and booking staff. Clear and concise booking contracts by post, everything 'double checked' over and over again! TUI's own Airway - Britannia, are masters of the package holiday business! Clean, well-staffed planes, excellent service. Accommodation (Hyde Park Apartments) very satisfactory indeed. Very professional rep. visits the site. Excursions/trips for those who want them. We prefer to hire a car. Same excellent service on return journey. Sorry almost to give such a "good" review, but for what this holiday cost it was an absolute peach!

Identical trip made November 2004 with Portland. Once again great service. Outgoing Britannia TUI plane seemed very restricted on legroom compared to return plane, and video films are absolutely knackered!
Travelled from Manchester Airport which has been the scene of near misses and a minor accident recently. Very impressed at the extreme caution taken by Britannia pilots whilst on the ground. They appear to not only take the instructions of Control staff, but also use their own judgement. Well done guys!
