General Comments

On August 8th my girlfriend and I (with her three children including a one year old baby) flew with your airline from London to Bangkok. The person checking us in said she was splitting us up. I explained this was not possible because:
1) The children need to be with their mother. (I am not their natural Father)
2) Children need to sit together to amuse and play with each other
3) It is not the job of strangers to mind children.
4) It takes two Adults to mind a one year old on an eleven hour flight. (One must hold the child while the other eats etc). Splitting Adults wont work.
5) This is what I paid for.
I asked to speak to a manager. Initially they tried to blame the travel agent. I obviously wouldn't accept this as communication arrangements between www.expedia.co.uk and Thai airlines is not my problem. The management then said they would sort something when we board which they did. All was then fine.
On August 28th we were then returning from Bangkok to London. Again the same problem when we checked in at Bangkok. When we boarded the Plane this time they couldnt sort the seating and the two older children (ages five and seven) had to sit behind us. I did warn them this wasnt a good idea but they said it was the best they could do.
About an hour into the flight a guy approached me and informed me in an angry tone that the five year old boy had Thrown water over a passenger. He then said to wake the baby and lift her off the floor in front of us (Where the viewing screen is). The baby's sleeping arrangements were no problem on the way over and no problem for the first hour into the flight. We immediately did as he had asked. The guy was simply angry. After a brief investigation I spoke to him. The child most certainly did not throw water. He accidentally knocked the small plastic glass onto the man sitting beside him. I explained to him that I did not appreciate him lying to me and pointed out that it was his airline that sat the children there. I had warned them that this type of thing would happen. I also pointed out that Thai airlines is clearly a child unfriendly airline. The fact that the airline will try and split up families with children should be printed on their website in order that families may make an informed decision when choosing an airline. You will find with that information famlies will choose another airline.
I am not happy with the behaviour of the airline.
