Great turntable all in all
Will last 20-30 years


General Comments

All in all the Technics SL-1200 is a good turntable, although way to overrated. Newer turntables for the same price or less have better build and torque.

    Other decks may have more useless features, but no way they have better build. This one has been proven for 30 years that it is built to last. As for the torque, the 1200s have exactly the right amount to produce the sounds that dj's want. And the motor is excruciatingly precise speed wise and very very very durable. The 1200 is the king and their are good reasons for it. Obviously, you've bought into the marketing hype of other deck builders.
