Good Points

Folding SLR design with instant film that produced fantastic blues. Good lens.

Bad Points

SX-70 film no longer available to buy commercially, although you can get sx-70 "blend" film to fit it doesn't provide the classic blues of the original film.

Camera is heavy even though it folds flat.

Expensive to buy cameras, and the film only has 10 shots so go careful.

General Comments

A classic. The Polaroid SX-70 cost millions to develop. Way ahead of its time. Mine has autofocus, light sensor, fold flat and is a real joy to use. It's a proper camera. You get the photo to hold in your hand straight away, there's something magic about that even now in an age where digital cameras are the norm.

The original SX-7- TZ film was also manipulatable, allowing you to make abstract images out of your photo. Some great results have been produced over the years, as well as some terrible ones.

I ALWAYS end up smiling when I use this camera. Nuff said.
