The touch screen is a joy to use and quite the best user interface on any portable gadget I have ever owned. The very obviously missing email application was released in January along with an excellent firmware & software upgrade. ( At £12 per user apple methinks a tad expensive) The software will, I expect, continue to be upgraded and developed improving its already excellent functionality. A little object of desire that works very very well.
Bad Points
If instead of wifi it had 3G it would be almost purrrrrrrrrrrrfect.
Supported Video and music file formats are a bit limited.
General Comments
I bought the 8mb version on the basis that the touch screen will become the standard interface for the iPod and I expect to buy one with much more memory in the future. Like the iphone to pick up an ipod touch is to want one.
