Eventually got what I wanted, but only because the subcontracted fitters did what I wanted and not what they had been told to do by Everest. The whole process was a nightmare. The original salesman didn't speak English very well and had no real knowledge of the products. At one stage he was silent for ten minutes while looking through his folder. Had to wait six months for something I was told would take six weeks. After three months, fitters turned up with wrong bricks and when I called their office the manager there tried to get me to accept them, even though I live in a conservation area where they would not be approved by the council. Took another three months to get right bricks, then the door they fitted had a deep scratch in the glass. Had to wait another month for the sealed unit to be replaced.
