post office have admitted not informing my son of exclusion of 3rd party cover on fully comp car insurance over the phone but are now back peddling HELP


General Comments

My son applied for fully comp car insurance with post office, aged 26 other years just 3rd party, his trade is a car macanic. he was not told at point of sale that because of his job 3rd party cover to drive other cars not owned by him would be disallowed.
Now up for 6 points plus huge fine. post office have admitted on phone that this should have been flagged on computer and failed to inform him when on submitted to underwriters. The post office have A DUTY OF CARE to ensure that customers are given the correct info, other occupations also apply.
