I've had my (FAC) BSA Ultra now for eight months and the gun performs flawlessly! I was initially attracted to the short streamlined carbine for it's elegant looks.
Accuracy it has plenty of mine likes Crosman Premier and Crosman Pointed pellets. It also digests others like Gamo Hunter, JSB Exacts with very good accuracy.
I use this airgun as a compact accurate ratting precision tool, I've dispatched many rats with my little Ultra carbine .
My Ultra delivers about 16-17 f.p.e. which is plenty for close range small game hunting. It doesn't have the power of my AA S400, but it's not supposed to.
The trigger breaks cleanly and has a nice springy first stage, the ultimate sporting trigger! I will never part with my Ultra, you can't go wrong with it.
The only thing that I would recommend you to get is a Logan or Weihrauch silencer. Go out and buy one, then let me know how great it shoots!
Warm Regards,
Eddie
