I've had this bike for 3 years now i think.
When i first got it, when it arrived in the crate, it looked weird. But me and my dad got straight on it, built it up, struggled a bit with the rear, getting the big bolt in for rear suspension, but got it in the end!
Instructions were not a great help at all, got confused bout the fuel switch, but now its fine.
I couldn't wait to get her out and blasting about the roads, so what did I do!
First ride out on it, my mate on his honda dylan 125 scooter and me on my new 2005 hongdou 125. Was riding about 30mph getting bored of my mate getting ahead.
Big stretch of road ahead, dropped into 4th gear and give her a handful............5th...............getting to 50mph.........55mph flat out.
Considering I was meant to run it in for bout 500 miles at 30mph then change oil!
Still got it now and using it, passed cbt on it, passed test on it and still going strong! Over 6000 miles on it easy, had few downers when took it greenlaning, cracking tank cover, bending the gear shifter, the mud just stuck to the tyres, but apart from that was ok.
So £600 for this 125cc 4 stroke, not bad as long as you look after it and keep it clean from rusting. Great bike! Been through a lot with it, and you can tell looking at it, the chrome is starting to peel off forks etc...nearing its end but replacement parts aren't any hassle.
