Good Points
Easy setup
Great connections with S-video and composite.
Connect camcorder or VHS equipment etc through it for really high quality recording.
Great TV reception
Great software

Bad Points
Don't lose the CD software that comes with it. As pinnacle will make you pay for re-shipment of the software it isn't freely downloadable.
