Had used them once before and got good service and good fitting of products. But this time was very unimpressed.
Sales pitch lack of clarity
Unprofessional
Not customer focused, in business to serve their own needs not you
1st appointment to give a quote not met. Never showed up. Second appointment, had to go through the whole haggle process where the rep quotes vastly inflated prices from a so called 'price list' only to scribble on a scrappy bit of paper all the 'discounts' he could give me. Lack of clarity in the quoting process is designed to con and confuse. All his calculations were scribbled on a scruffy bit of paper. V.unprofessional. Eventually came down to a reasonable figure which I accepted. Didn't realise that the figure scribbled on the paper wasn't the figure that actually appeared on the contract. When I challenged him on this he claimed it was because he had to add safety glass in all the windows. Nowhere was the extra pricing written clearly on the quote. They write abbreviations unintelligible to the customer and unexplained. Cancelled the contract within 2 days. This was acknowledged but I was told that my deposit that was cashed immediately couldn't be returned before 28 days, their 'system' couldn't cope. The only thing Anglian windows can't cope with is treating customers with respect. Don't use. Went to a local company that quoted me a first price lower than Anglian. They told me that Anglian have these problems because all sales personnel are on commission so try to get the highest price past the customer that they can.
