Good Points

Best number of features and flexibility in a quality machine. Has the ability to record live TV while transfering to DVD from HD. Best of breed features include all in one flash card reader and video camera inputs,a large 120 HD for superior quality. Internet vendors can provide better prices in most locales.


Bad Points

Does not have the basic TiVO included as other high end units.


General Comments

This Panasonic DMR-E 100HS is at the higher end, yet it comes packed with features that are best of breed and insofar as you are willing to sacrifice the basic TiVo package from other vendors, you get alot more in terms of features and a better value for the price. I did some reserch on the other models that include TiVO which is a very basic service enabling preet programming and decided that the features of this unit were a better deal.
