Ok for 'simple' banking. .i.e paying in cheques through a hole in the wall or withdrawing money thought, you guessed it, a hole in the wall. Either way you must be near a branch to get anything done. Actually forget that - they dont want to know you at the branch as there's no 'over the counter' services.
EVERYTHING is awful. Dont even bother.
Well, they keep changing their phone numbers. They hide behind an 0870/0845 number which most mobiles don't allow or include and of course you cant call from abroad.
You cant call them out of hours if you want to stop a cheque or you lose your card because they advise you to call their main abbey call centre whose systems don't allow them to access any business stuff.
If you do get through to Glasgow, they're polite.
If you need any 'cash' services i.e getting a float for some change they dont want to know me.
They have not sent out forms when I ask them to. The website is just as useless when ordering forms/envelopes as the Glasgow call centre.
Oh, i'm just fed up with this lot - yeah fine it free but the pay-off is awful. I'd rather pay for a service and just get a decent service....so recommendations please???
