Really long - and for the most part damn inventive. Top sci-fi shooting. Actual plot, fairly amusing but actual characters. Good graphics (to a point) but runs really well even on a minimum system. Portla and TF2 are both good quick fun
Really pretty linear - and the two episodes compare pretty badly to the progression and invention of the original game (HL2)
The actual half life 2 game (if you have not played it) is excellent and sort of like the James Cameron of video games (if that makes any sense) the episodes are good but disappointing. It's a great package though, and well worth playing right through, especially at the prices going around nowadays. Do not buy a second hand copy of this game! It runs through STEAM and you will not be able to install it. Very recommended despite weaknesses of it's own making
