General Comments
These Continental ContiSport Contact 2 were bought as replacements for some Pirelli P6000 tyres which were discovered to be "out of shape" and caused vibrations throughout the car. The Continentals cured all the ill-handling and vibration problems which the previous Pirellis had caused.

I have had these tyres before and they were fitted as original equipment to a Ford Mondeo. I have been very pleased with the tyres ability to deal with waterlogged road surfaces, braking from high speed and all-round handling ability. They were replaced at 20,000 miles which was not as good as I had hoped for, but quite acceptable considering I had driven them hard.

Road noise is good and didn't tend to increase as the tyres wore, as sometimes happens with other makes.

Overall I am happy with these Continentals and will buy them again even though they are a little more expensive than some of the alternatives
