Good Points

The graphics have a very dirty, industrial look, which I personally prefer; the sound effects are awesome; the gore effects are great; the impact hammer's return is welcome; the weapons have been balanced out (the AVRiL is a lot less overpowered); the Warfare mode is a better mode than Onslaught; the Hover board is a great idea and works well; the new variety of vehicles are great; the maps are all memorable.


Bad Points

Assault mode has been scrapped; there is no Lightning Gun; the game play can feel very dated.


General Comments

UT3 is a great shooter, with several new additions to differentiate itself from its predecessors, while remaining true to what made the series great. The new modes are great, and keep the game feeling fresh. However the absence of the Assault mode and the Lightning Gun are tragic to say the least, but the new additions make up for it nicely.

There is nothing more to say. It's Unreal Tournament, at the end of the day. If you love it, you'll love this. If not, you won't.
