I purchased an MP3 player and a pack of accessories for it from John Lewis online. I didn't received it within the specified delivery time frame so I contacted their helpline. I was told the item had been sent by the courier back to John Lewis and they couldn't tell why (I was at home every day from when I ordered it to when it should have arrived so it wasn't like they couldn't deliver). I had had to pay delivery of around '£10 for both the items but because they had run out of the accessory pack and couldn't locate the original parcel, they refunded the cost of delivery as well as the cost of the acessories. I didn't even have to ask for this and wasn't phoning to complain, just to find out where the items were. Needless to say I was very impressed with this - the item arrived within 48 hours following this telephone conversation.
