The BMW 3 Series 323 SE is very comfortable and smooth. The automatic seems to drive itself as you drive round junctions and roundabouts without even noticing which gear its in.Pokey when needed, cruisy when not. Top end driving on the motorway is a treat with bundles of horses when you need them. This is an effortless car that sticks to the road like glue.
If anything I'd say space is the only draw back. It fits a family of 4 but not much room for grandma on those day trips out. The heater takes a while to warm up, but I suspect that's my specific car - must get it looked at.
Overall this is the best of the 10+ cars I have owned. I'd recommend it to anyone and it would be hard to to better it. I was going to get a 5 series, but I'm glad I didn't as this car a dream to drive and easy to park.
