Excellent value for money, efficient service when booked. Quick delivery of confirmation and details. Friendly call center staff who were only too happy to help when calling them for advice. Flight on time, helpful staff on board, good food, plenty of leg room.
Have not really got any bad points !!!! if i was to be really picky we would say that the plane was really warm and could have done with some better air conditioning !!!!!!!!
We have always flown to Florida with Virgin but with 3 children budgets have changed so decided to give Travelcity Direct a go. The price was fantastic and they took care of all the car hire and passes. After reading the reviews I was slightly worried as some people had really slated them. I decided to go ahead and went with a positive view. The flight was on time and we manged to get 5 seats together. Compared with most airlines I thought the amount of leg room was great and I am 5' 11". although I would say the leg room did look more towards the front of the plane so would ask for that when checking in. there were no seat back tv's which we knew before flying and the Tv's on the roof were impossible for children to see. You can hire portable monitors which have loads of channels including films, music, kids comedy etc. These are '£10 but are well worth the money on a long flight !! The only advice I would give would be to go for the pre booking of seats option especially if travelling as a family. We didnt and on the way home was seperated by 10 rows which is not ideal with 3 kids although the stewardess was very helpful on board and managed to swap us around !! I felt I had to write this review after reading alot of the previous ones and listening to so many people on our flight moaning about how poor it was, the state of the airline and the food, and they would never fly with them again !! We could find nothing wrong in anything they were moaning about !!! I guess there is no pleasing everyone but as a mother of 3 young children I would have no worries in recommending or travelling with them again !!!!!!! We had a fantastic holiday !!!
