I am Legend is not a zombie film, it is far deeper than that. It is exceptionally well made and kept me interested at all times. The director manages to make you feel as though you are actually in a deserted city and the sense of loneliness is tangible.
This was actually a remake of a Charlton Heston classic called "The Omega Man" which I saw as a teenager and thoroughly enjoyed. So I was a bit concerned that this one might be a bit of a let down. It was most certainly not! In fact I have to rate " I Am Legend " as being one of the best films I have ever seen. I would recommend it to anyone.
If you miss this film you really will be missing out.
