Crystal rentals spain gives poor service.
General Comments
We rented Kikas villa - Selwo Park in Estepona for the period December 2007 . The booking was made via Crystalrentalsspain organisation.
While the website looks very promising the villa concerned is actually in a very poor state and is not in state that can or should be rented out.
In summary:
? We rented a villa including a heated pool. When we arrived the pool was filled with dirty braun water. Eventually the pool remained uncleaned and unfilled with water for a week. The second week the pool was filled with water but no heating was done, so swimming was not possible.
We rented a villa including two jacuzzi's. The jacuzzi's were there but were both not working.
? We suffered two days without any water supply. No showers, no toilet, nothing!!!
We even requested to be moved to another house, so desperate were we at the time. Again no adequate action was taken by crystal rentals spain.
After the water supply was fixed the next 4 days were without any heating in the house. You will understand that with only 15-17 degrees outside heating is absolutely necessary. Nothing was done to get this fixed.
One day we only had cold water no warm water from the showers.
The website states the villa has 6 bedrooms plus games room but effectively it only has 4 bedrooms plus one small open sleeping place for one person and beds in the games room!
Many more smaller things were not working in the house:
one shower was not giving warm water during two weeks,
many lamps did not work,
the freezer did not work,
the dish washer could only be used for half of the capacity as a tray was missing,
the website says "dining area for 14 people" but actually there were only plastic chairs from the terrace available and no table.

I have just returned from a villa booked through the internet site crystalrentalsspain... anyone who has a booking with them or is thinking of booking with them, I recommend not to.
If you haven't booked yet.. I dont recommend to do so. I was very happy with my holiday and the experience I felt was given from this holiday site.
I booked villa, paid a £750 deposit. The villa we booked was not available last minute and was changed. It turned out to be a very old villa in much need of attention with blow up beds! Including loose electrical wires in the pool. French doors were with cracked broken glass. Curtain poles on the floor and the story goes on...
