Good Points

The machine looks good and feels sturdy. It makes good coffee on the filter coffee side.


Bad Points

The espresso and especially the milk frothing function are very poor. The espresso maker leaks ages after turning the switch off. The milk frother blows bubbles but does not froth (only marginally improved by new frothing head). The frothing head blows off! The milk gets so hot it burns the coffee which makes a thoroughly nasty cup of cappuccino.

The instructions with this machine are completely useless. The machine makes noises that are a bit alarming. When frothing there is a continuous thumping noise. When switched off in the wrong order (espresso side) the machine hisses and bellows out steam.


General Comments

I got this machine as an 'upgrade' to my (sadly now leaking) Krups F8744338 Crematic Coffee Centre but will be sending it back.
