I have spent $800 fixing it in the last 7 years as the unit keeps breaking down. This is from the NAD importer in Australia. Volume knob is audible when turning not noisy or scratchy but you can hear the digital clicks in the background when you turn it. Also noisy fan when it goes into cool mode.
General Comments
The newer version T 753 has fixed all the issues as stated above so worth getting that one or another unit equivalent like the Denon or Yamaha. Sound is pretty good and is very versatile with the remote.

I specifically mention this as there are some AV receivers (the NAD T752 comes to mind) that has all the processing necessary for 6.1 film reproduction, but lacks the sixth channel amplifier.
