Good Points

Simple to understand & easy to use platform.


Bad Points

Charting software (especially intraday charts) not always working. Minimum stakes can be higher than offered by other companies. Had occasional problems funding my account through the web.


General Comments

I opted to go with City Index when searching for a spread betting firm based on the simplicity of their platform. It was all new to me & so "easy" was what I was looking for! I only dabble but having looked at other firm's demos, still believe theirs is one of the easiest platforms around to use. Plus, I can use alternative websites such as, ADVFN or Digital Look, for my intraday charting requirements. As for the funding of my account, telephoning it through was just as simple & instantaneous.
