FLIGHT OVERBOOKING, AND WE COULDN'T GET ON THE PLANE!


General Comments

my wife and i travelled to Egypt for our HONEYMOON from Japan end of 2007 via Egypt Air, and re-confirmed our return trip on the same day before taking off. but when we finish our trip in Egypt , Egypt Air kept us waiting 2 hours in the airport due to overbooking of our plane. they kept telling us NO PROBLEM but at the same time selecting and checking-in people behind us. IN THE END THEY TOLD US WE COULDN'T GET ON THIS PLANE!! we have no choice but to wait for their arrangement on next flight. IT WAS 2 DAYS BEHIND THE SCHEDULE!!!! and we have a friend's wedding to attend on the next day!! when we argued this with your office manager, He said "to take it or not !!" without even saying SORRY. after long exhausting negotiation, we finally got on plane to Bangkok via Bombay, via Kuala Lumpur. very exhausting. of course we missed the wedding. this was a BIG DISASTER since we were the best man and maid of honor at wedding. Egypt Air should be a well-organized international airline company, and this should not happen!
