Good Points
Both electric and kick start. Starts first time. Handles well. reliable engine.

Bad Points
Prone to rust. Plastics crack in hot weather. Vibrates a lot this leads to sore wrists and blown bulbs.

General Comments
Mine is a 2002 model which I purchased second hand in 2005 The exhaust silencer was very rusty, but I soon sorted the problem by removing the rust and riveting a stainless steel plate over it. it has 50,000 Km on the clock and has never broken down. The bike was badly damaged due to an accident 18 months ago. I left it standing in an open compound for 12 months when I when back to it I put a new battery in and to my surprise it started 6th kick and the engine still ran beautifully. The original tires were a big let down to the bike. Once I replaced them with conti citys the cornering was improved drastically in all weathers. The Side stand was annoying because it returns with a spring. Many times I have gone to the bike to see it lying on the floor because the wind has pushed it over. I have had difficulty in obtaining after market parts, Kymco parts are very expensive I have often had to manufacture them myself.

I also found kymco parts to be expensive but if you look for 1995-1998 honda cb125 parts most of these fit and are pretty cheap
